Celebrate your arrival to Santa Barbara at West beach right in downtown Santa Barbara! We’re renting SUP boards, sea kayaks and spending the day in the sand. Bring your favorite beach activities, towels, chairs and sun protection.
Snacks and tiki drinks provided.
Limited parking, bathrooms and beach showers available onsite.
Carpooling suggested.

Mini Fly-in and coffee at Santa Ynez Airport

As most of you know, Henry is a pilot, his father was a decorated pilot, his mother is a pilot, and Tegan is becoming a pilot. So needless to say, this is a plane family! Plane enthusiasts of the group can join us for a mini fly-in at the vineyard surrounded Santa Ynez airport right over the hill from Santa Barbara (~30 min drive) with some of the members of our pilot community. We know this is early in Santa Ynez, and planes aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, so please feel free to sleep in and join us later for the ceremony if this isn’t for you. FLYING IS WEATHER DEPENDENT - check your email on the morning of, we will email you by 8:30 AM if this mini event is cancelled due to weather or fog!
Coffee and pastries provided.

The Ceremony at El Presidio Real de Santa Barbara
5:00-5:30 pm
The ceremony will take place in the historical Presidio Chapel in the El Presidio Real archaeological complex which has been around since 1792. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Dress code: Formal

The Reception at La Paloma Cafe
6:00-11:00 pm
After the ceremony, join us for a 5 minute stroll to La Paloma Cafe to begin the festivities! Dinner, craft cocktails and dancing to follow. We will close out the event with a midnight jump in the ocean, for those who dare to join!

Tegan and her family come from a long line of polo players. Her parents even met at a polo match! So what could be better suited to celebrate family history and new family traditions than watching a game of high goal polo together? The un-initated will enjoy the novelty…and the Aperol Spritz cart.
Arrive at 2:15-2:30 pm to get your spot in the stands and grab a drink. When you arrive, say you are with Tegan and Henry’s party or Tegan Bukowski’s party and they will show you to our place in the stands!
Dress code: “California Kentucky Derby” - sun hats and flat shoes suggested.
Drinks and food available for purchase at the club.
Accommodations & Santa Barbara extracurriculars
Accommodations: Because everyone has such varying tastes, we have decided to leave it up to you where to stay! Anywhere in the downtown Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria and Goleta areas will be close to the celebration.
Extra-curricular activities and restaurants that we can suggest for off-times:
Food and Drink: Handlebar Coffee Roasters, Playa Azul Mexican, Kanaloa Seafood, Bibi Ji, Ca Dario Italian, Loquita, The Lark, Bettina Pizzeria, seafood on the wharf, Nella Kitchen and Bar in Santa Ynez, Matteis Tavern in Santa Ynez (Auberge)! Our reception is at La Paloma Cafe, so we don’t recommend you dine there on Friday evening.
Activities: Santa Barbara Natural History Museum, Santa Barbara Zoo, Winchester Shooting Range for trap and skeet, Santa Barbara Botanical Garden, hiking, beaches, wine tasting in Santa Ynez or Los Olivos, wine tasting at various tasting rooms in the “Funk Zone” of downtown Santa Barbara, Montecito hot springs, yoga at Yoga Soup, shopping on State Street or at Montecito Country Mart.
